Brock Stratton Ridge, LLC (previously J. T. S. Brock Jr. Estate) was formed in 2015 to manage interests in 2,861 acres on the Stratton Ridge Salt Dome property as recorded in the J. E. Groce 5 Leagues Survey, Abstract 66, Tracts 7, 10, 11 and 12, City of Clute in Brazoria County, Texas.
The property is located on County Road 226 aka Stratton Ridge Road and FM 523.
The Stratton Ridge salt dome is a large salt diapir located less than 10 miles from the Texas Gulf Coast in Brazoria County Texas. The Stratton Ridge salt dome has been developed with caverns for both brine production and product storage such as crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids like ethane and propane.
Both surface and sub-surface opportunities exist. Companies doing business in the area include Dow Chemical, Olin Chemical, Freeport LNG, Phillips 66, Kinder Morgan, Praxair, INEOS and ExxonMobil.
The property offers a convenient route to Freeport and the Texas Gulf Coast Region as well as close proximity to the FLNG meter station on the east side of FM 523.
